In this video, Fermín Serrano, from the The Institute for Biocomputation and Physics of Complex Systems of the University of Zaragoza (BIFI), expresses his ideas about data visualization applied to understand scientific research. He also explains one of the latest Institute’s work: the visualization of Twitter messages in the 15-M Movement, Occupy Puerta del Sol (Madrid, May 2011), and underlines the multidisciplinary character of data visualization which appeals for collaboration between artists and scientists. Finally, he calls out to present ambitious projects to Paseo Project contest.
